HUB PROGRAMME OPTION - EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
Prospective Parents/Teachers
We all know it’s been a tumultuous year, almost two, and although there is light at the end of the tunnel, we still have some challenges and worries ahead of us. Prior to Covid, Cunae had already been discussing hybrid educational hub options for the future as we had seen a shift with younger generational parents who wish for greater educational choices for their children. Lately we have been hearing this call as a response to Covid. We recognize that this may be temporary, however, we are examining whether we may be able to provide some relief for families. Thus, we invite you to provide your expression of interest in seeking an alternative educational option based on your needs.
We had our own journey through Covid, and whilst challenging, and imperfect, overall, we delivered. Thus, we feel that if there is a distinct need, and we are in a position to meet such needs, then it is our drive as educators to be creative solution specialists in order to see how we may assist. Please know that whilst this is exploratory, we recognize the urgency for some families, and will keep people apprised of any likely action on our end.
For teachers who may have left their profession due to the extreme challenges and duress in larger institutions, but still feel a calling to be part of the educational journey of children, please share your interest in joining our team.
Very briefly, what is important to know about us is that we are a small independent private school, with a focus on community. Our classes are generally capped at 14 students. As a micro-school, we can respond swiftly, and adapt, to environmental challenges and individual student needs. And although you may be looking at us as an alternative educational environment as a response to Covid, I encourage you to explore our website to further understand our philosophy and academic programmes, in order to ensure that we are a suitable option for your child.
All interested parents and teachers should also know that whilst we appreciate that there are very different views with regards to Covid protocols in schools, please be aware that we DO follow CDC guidelines, and therefore we may not align with your personal views, and thus may not be your ideal choice; which we understand.
I invite both parents and teachers to complete the respective questionnaires below, in order to provide us with valuable research about what our surrounding community is looking for during this difficult time, or simply for future options.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Anji Price - Executive Director
